Vanilla Custard Dessert
Smooth and comforting classic custard.
- 2 cups milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Heat milk until steaming. Whisk yolks, sugar, vanilla, cornstarch. Pour hot milk into yolk mixture; return to pan. Cook on medium, stirring, until thick. Chill and serve.
- Do not boil or custard may curdle.
